How To Play The backroom can only be escaped via "Gates" spread around the map, these gates can be identified by their slightly more aged appearance although it may be hard to see while running from danger. Escaping When you enter a gate, you have a chance of escaping, but more likely, you'll be sent to a random location. to increase your chance of escaping you will need to find the notes scattered around the map, when you find one hit "E" to collect it. It's even possible to escape easily within a minute if you know where to go.
